Vicky Kaushal Honours Sardar Udham Singh With A New Teaser Giving A Sneak Into His Historic Mission
Vicky Kaushal has always impressed the audiences with his versatile acting. From Masaan to URI the actor left no stone unturned and has given his best no matter what. The actor is now all set to play the character of Sardar Udham Singh. The actor recently unveiled the first teaser of his upcoming film and just within 24-hours, the actor has yet again treated his fans with a brand new teaser of Sardar Udham. 

Taking to social media, Vicky shared the film’s second teaser that goes back in time and tracks an important event in the life of Sardar Udham Singh. In the teaser, bullet shots are heard and the headlines of Michael O'Dwyer being shot to death surfaces. The teaser also gives us a good glimpse of Vicky's turbaned avatar.

For the uninitiated, Michael O'Dwyer was the Lieutenant Governor of Punjab, British India between 1913 and 1919. He was shot dead by Udham Singh in 1940 in London in the aftermath of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Vicky’s caption read, "His name etched in our history, his mission shook the entire nation. It's an incredible honour to step into the shoes of Sardar Udham Singh."

Directed by Shoojit Sircar, Sardar Udham is slated to release on Amazon Prime Video on 16 October. The film was shot in Russia, UK, Ireland, Germany and North India. It’s set against the backdrop of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre with Vicky Kaushal as Sardar Udham Singh.
